The pop legend Cher is working on a musical based on her life and career. The stage version of the 71-year-old star’s story will premiere on Broadway in 2018, the performer announced on her Twitter account.
"Just got off phone with Writer & Director of musical. There will be performance in theatre with actors, dancers, singers. It'll be on Broadway 2018," the singer of All or Nothing revealed. Three actresses will portray pop industry’s most famous Armenian woman in the different stages of her life. The Grammy Award-winning singer continues to surprise her fans. At last month’s Billboard Music Awards ceremony, she strutted on stage in a silver outfit that featured a see-through bra top of sparkling crystals and nipple pasties. Minutes before she accepted the Icon of the Year award, Cher appeared for a performance in her revealing outfit and sang one of her all-time hits Believe, which has over 20 million copies sold worldwide. The star of the film Moonstruck also continues to be dedicated to her Las Vegas show Classic Cher, which draws huge crowds in the so-called sin city.
